The Labour Ordinance provides power to the Director of Labour Department to give exemption towards the following provisions of the Ordinance.

Consent to Director as-to-date are as follows:

  1. Permit for women to work at night;

  2. Permit for advance of wages;

  3. Permit for working exceeding hours prescribe under the Ordinance;

  4. Permit for accumulation of rest days;

  5. Permit for shift work;

  6. Permit for deduction of wages;

  7. Permit for maintenance of other form of register of employees;
  8. Permit to work exceeding the limit of hours of overtime; and

  9. Permit to maintain Register at the company's Headquaters.
